Walnut and hard-maple wine caddy, oiled and in service tonight. The body is glued-up strips of black walnut with a single hard maple band running down the center, milled flat, edges rounded over, two coats of mineral oil and a light buff. Two cutouts at the wide ends hold stemmed glasses by the feet, and the slot in the middle takes a standard 750 ml bottle. The whole thing came out of cutoffs from a cutting board run last month.
