Walnut frame pieces dry-fit against a full-length mirror on the kitchen island, painters tape holding the corners in position, Radar watching.

full length walnut mirror (in progress)

Dry-fitting the walnut frame for the full-length mirror against the glass it's going to hold. Two long stiles and two short rails, taped together with painters tape so I can rotate the corners and check the grain match before I commit to glue. The mirror is sitting where the project sits today, the kitchen island, because nothing in the shop is wide enough to lay this thing flat. Radar is supervising, as ever. Once the corners are right I'll mark the mortises, route them at the bench, and pull the mitered tenons together over a couple of evenings.
